The assessment should be conducted within the context of the family and community,incorporating cultural and developmental variations, and the needs of the patient.Prerequisites:Undergraduate Health Assessment CourseCourse Objectives:Upon completion of this course, the student will be prepared to:1.Demonstrate holistic health and physical assessments, including physiological, psychological,socio-cultural, developmental, and spiritual variables.2.Recognize variations in patient responses based on global perspectives and ethical dilemmas.3.Implement advanced communication skills in completing in-depth evidence based and focusedhealth history considering cultural, environmental, community characteristics, life stagedevelopment and epidemiology.4.Differentiate gross and subtle abnormalities in the holistic assessment of an individual.5.Demonstrate knowledge and skill in addressing sensitive topics with individual’s familymembers.6.Document subjective and objective assessment findings in the appropriate SOAP format.7.Utilizes technology within the systematic approach of advanced assessment.N5544 8/23/2018
