Michael Lepri History 103-004 I have chosen several sources so far for my paper on Albert Gallatin. First a book titled Albert Gallatin: Jefferson financier and Diplomat by Raymond Walters, Jr. this book goes through almost all of Gallatin’s life and focuses on his job as Secretary of the Treasury for Jefferson as you can tell from the title. Another book I chose Albert Gallatin by John Austin Stevens is another biographical book that again gives a look at Albert’s life all the way through. The third book I found is titled Financial Founding Fathers: the men who made America Rich by Robert E. Wright and David J. Cowen and this book contains a large excerpt on Albert’s years as a cabinet member. (All these books were found in the Phillips Memorial Library) I also found an online encyclopedia
