Mohammed K. Ali Shatnawi 20093171003 The main idea of this paper is about predicting values techniques of an instruction  based on a Global Context where the behavior of other instructions is used in prediction  rather than  Local Context which predicts values using the values generated by the  same instruction. These values patterns include: constants, stride, sequences. Two types of global context are described in depth: 1. Path information (branch history). a. Path-based Last Value Prediction Consists of a BHR*, VPHT* and HFG*. Store the recent values of instructions along with their  addresses are stored in a history table to predict the next value  of the instruction. Performance is analyzed using trace-driven simulation running
