Robert L. Kerin SL1105D-26M Individual Work Assignment 3 8/27/2009 Academic Honesty, one would assume this is the opposite side of the coin to Academic Dishonesty. Which Academic Honesty means you are being honest with yourself as well as your classmates, as with your professors. Academic Honesty is one of the most important things you can do while going to college, if you cheat the end result is you are only cheating yourself. Plagiarism is the use of others works, stealing in a sense. It is where you take someone’s work and you don’t “quote” it and or identify your sources. I believe that would firmly define plagiarism. The penalty for this act can lead to you receiving zero credit on your assignment, failing the course or even being suspended from school....
