MEM 425 : Aircraft Performance and Design Fall 2009 Final Project Report Due: December 08, 2008; Noon An Oil Mogul needs a luxury aircraft for family travel. She is soliciting proposals from several competing aircraft designers. Your teams are among them. Your objective should be to offer the best proposal you can so that you may win the contract and lavish your families with luxuries for years to come. The requirements, as presented by the Mogul, are as follows. Requirements/Specifications Passengers: 10 family members, 2 pilots (not of family), 1 hostess. Cruise velocity: 0.75 Mach. Cruise altitude: 40,000 ft. Stall velocity: 90 miles/hr. Range: from Philadelphia to Chennai, India, non-stop
