Show Review The show first debuted August 27,  1992 and lasted until May 1, 1997 on  the FOX network The show was written by Martin  Lawrence and John Bowman.  The show started Martin Lawrence, with  a supporting cast of such as Thomas  Mikal Ford, Carl Anthony Payne II

Summary The show is set in Detroit, Michigan, the  sitcom stars  Martin Lawrence as the role of  Martin Payne, a young DJ who in later  becomes a talk show host, and his comedic  antics with his friends. The series regularly  focus on Martin's insensitive actions towards  everyone in the vicinity, including friends and  strangers. Though, at the end of the day  Martin loves his family and friends - it just  takes dismal situations for his adoration to
