Micah Vinson Procurement Integrity Act The procurement integrity act was created to help insure veracity and raise the level of ethics when it comes to outside contractors looking to obtain contracts within the vast sections of the Federal government. The Procurement Integrity Act prohibits release to the general public of source selection and contractor bid or proposal information. Even a former employee who worked in particular positions on a contract in excess of $10 million is banned for one year from receiving compensation as an employee or consultant from the contractor who had put in the bid. These post-employment restrictions on receiving compensation help to keep the government farther from corruption and also
