Textual Analysis Speech Your final major speech utilizes all of the public speaking and critical thinking skills you have learned over the course of the semester. You will be informing your audience about a particular text, persuading your audience as to the success or failure of this text, and offering many examples to support your overall interpretation of the text. In order to accomplish this you will need to complete the following guidelines: Audience Analysis Organization Introduction – includes the four (4) elements you have learned throughout the semester. (Attn Getter, Significance, Purpose, Preview) Body – Main Point I – Description : Describe the text objectively. What does this text say? What does it use to communicate this message? This is where you inform us about the text. Give us an objective visual picture. For many texts, you will have to make choices as to what to include and what not to include in the description.
