Marc Pomi 106040098 4/20/09 Physics 134 Lab Recitation 1 (12:50-2:50) Lab #8 LCR Circuit Abstract: In this lab we observe the behavior of LCR and LR circuits. Procedure: 1. Connect the circuit as provided in the diagram. 2. Set the function generator to 1 kHz and the Resistor to 100 ohms. Repeat with 3 additional resistances. 3. Record observations. 4. Reconnect the circuit as shown in the 2 nd diagram. 5. Adjust the decade capacitor to 0.001 μ F 6. Record the frequency of the oscillations of the circuit. 7. Repeat for 3 additional values.
