Open ANSYS with a jobname of block in the C:\Courses\Intro1 directory 2. Click the RESUME icon to resume block.db 3. Dynamically rotate a model with the 3D driver active: – Notice the Model Control Toolbar at the right of the graphics window, shown here – Click on the bottom most icon to turn on Dynamic Model Mode – Use only the mouse to dynamically rotate the model • (remember, left mouse = pan, middle mouse = zoom/spin, right mouse = rotate) 4. Plot various entities with – Utility Menu > Plot > • Areas • Lines • Nodes 5. Use select logic to select all nodes at a x coordinate of zero – Utility Menu > Select > Entities • Change the selections to Node and By Location • Click on the X coordinates button • Enter a value of zero and press OK 6. Plot and list the selected nodes – Utility Menu > Plot > Nodes...
