Employing Sources of Power into an Organization 2 Business has been going well for Jack and Jenny at Sandwich Blitz. However, they have noticed an increasing number of store managers and employees arriving late to work. Jack and Jenny have to come up with a solution to this problem. Jack and Jenny should employ the use of reward and coercive source of power. A leader who demonstrates reward power has the ability to influence others to do things based on a reward system. Every employee is an individual and it would not be ideal for a low performing employee to reap the same benefits as a top performer. Jack and Jenny also need a leader that would issue disciplinary action; a leader who would demonstrate the use of coercive power. Jack and Jenny could implement these types of power to correct problems associated with store managers and employees arriving late to work. Reward power
