HST112: The Origins of the Modern World Final Exam: Monday December 14, 2009 Section 1: Identifications Instructions: You need to be able to give approximate dates, a basic description, and the significance. You will be given twenty choices on the day of the mid-term, and you will need to answer ten . The twenty options will be divided into two groups of ten (one for the 19 th century and one for the 20 th ), and you will need to answer five from each group. Each identification will be worth 5% of your exam grade, and this section will be worth a total of 50% of the exam grade. I suggest spending about 5 minutes on each identification.
