Dealing with DistractionsGroup 2
SLEEP●It is known that when you're tired you cannot focus.●8 hours of sleep every night will allow you to be more focused.●Some ways to go to bed earlier are:○Have a bedtime routine○Read a book before bed○Do not have any caffeine after 3pm○Go to bed at the same time every night
SNACKS●When studying it can be very distracting when you get hungry or thirsty.●You can lose focus when you get up to make a snack or get a drink.●To keep your focus it is best to carry snacks with you so you do not have to get up from studying to get a snack.
MEDITATION●Meditation lengthens attention span.●It is possible to reverse patterns in the brain that contribute to mind-wandering,worrying, and poor attention by meditating.●Just four days of practicing meditation may be enough to increase attention span.
Putting Away Electronics●Any work that requires a focused mind will benefit from a media break.
