A forensic psychologist expert is a well-trained professional that assists with the evaluating and interpreting of criminal behavior and mental disorders, as it relates to crime and legal issues within this text. According to the text: “Objective measures exist that a clinician may administer to screen for anxiety, depression, post- traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), intellectual disability, personality disorders, and so on. However, practitioners must purchase the measures from the publishers, and most insurance companies will not pay for these types of psychological evaluation, which average $1,500 each.”
