Kyle Daniele 3/18/09 According to the life expectancy calculator, I will live until the age of 75. The three biggest positive factors that I have going for me are my diet, my cholesterol level, and my personality type. The two biggest negative factors that I have going for me are my family’s health, and my gender. With this, I can break down my lifestyle to see what is positive and negative. I am currently seventeen, 155 lbs., and 5’10”. I think I do a pretty good job of removing fast foods from my diet and obviously the less, the better. My diet consists of low-fat foods with five or more portions of fruit and vegetables. I have stopped drinking soda for three years and do not have any desire to drink it again. However, I should cut back on sweets/snacks in my diet. After every meal, I usually take a multivitamin to get my daily vitamins and minerals. My blood pressure is 115/70 and my cholesterol level is 150. I am easy-going and

I do not have any bad driving habits and I always wear my seat belt whether I am driving or a passenger. Also, I have never smoked or drank alcohol. One of my grandmothers died at 50 from breast cancer and lung cancer from second-hand smoke. My other grandmother died at 58 from breast cancer and lung cancer due to smoking. One of my grandfathers who is 74 has had prostate cancer but it is in remission. By adopting healthier lifestyles and avoiding various risk factors, I can increase my life expectancy by up to fifteen years. My ideal weight for maximum longevity would be 164 lbs. The results of the test did not upset me and I am glad I am leading a sort of healthy lifestyle....
