When trying to access Fandango or Moviefone through their mobile interface, both provide similar level of quality for finding initial movie information and movie time. Both Fandango and Moviefone have a mobile-friendly version of their website which is accessible through any non- pc electronic that can access the internet. One major difference between the Fandango and Moviefone mobile page is that when choosing a movie, Fandango’s immediate assumption is the user is trying to purchase a ticket, and thus seamlessly allows the consumer to purchase right through the mobile page. However with Moviefone, the primary assumption is that the user wishes to know more about the movie including a brief synopsis and the movie’s rating among other viewers, and thus makes it somewhat difficult for consumers to figure out how to buy a ticket for that movie. Even though Fandango does carry a synopsis, it is not the first item to be seen; and is only accessible through a quick link upon request.
