Summary and reaction to "Cities and Creative Class" and the "Ted" Video. 1. How would Florida define entrepreneurship? What would he think of innovative entrepreneurship vs. replicative entrepreneurship? First lets look at the three types of capital: Human, Social, and Creative Second, look at the three T’s of economic development: Technology, Talent, and Tolerance Both types of entrepreneurs, according to Florida, would have college degrees. Innovative would be creative capital, more of the thinkers and creative type. They would most likely live in the cities that had the three T’s. Replicative would operate on human or social capital, more of the blue-collar type of thinking and doing. Not all of the three T’s would be in this environment. 2. What lessons can you learn from the second article? I’m presuming the second article would be the video of Sir Ken Robinson. The video made me have an epiphany. I was a problem child who hasn’t tapped into my ultimate talent. I’m still searching for it.
