The Course Instructor Tips are in Course Tips for your convenient access at anytimeQ- How can I open the documents in Course Tips?A – Be sure you are logged into your WGU Student Portal only (logout of gmail, etc), then click on the Course Tips button to view the links to all documents in that section. Sometimes you may need to disable “cookies” on your computer, or open a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.)Q – My Course Instructor is out of the office, is there someone that can help me?A – Check your WGU email. Your CI may have sent an email noting who was covering in his/her absence. If you prefer, email your CI to get an auto reply message that informs you who is covering. A – Accessing the i-Human platform, simulations, and final assessment differs from your usual assessment path because you don’taccess i-Human through the Assessment Tab in your Course of Study. Instead, you click on the i-Human hyperlink (blue) in your Course of Study (COS). Click on the Preparing for Success, then Learning Resources tabs then scroll down until you see it. Q –What do I do once I’m in i-Human?A- Advance preparation is key. You can save yourself a lot of time and frustration by completing these steps first:●Register for and attend/watch a ‘getting started/prebriefing’ live or recorded cohort ●View the tutorials: Patient History, Physical Exams, and Patient Assessment, from the home page of i-Human●Review the i-Human job aid (in course tips)●Take notes as you go through the simulation as you can use them next time, even in test modeQ – Who do I contact for technical issues?A – Since it may be a navigational issue and i-Human is an outside vendor, let your assigned CI know so he/she can troubleshoot with you.
