SI 501Assignment 4 Team Consolidated Model (team assignment) Revised August 27, 2009 Due Date: See your course syllabus Percentage of grade: 15% Overview Consolidated models show overarching patterns of work. They are more than simply combinations of individual models. Instead, they provide a single, coherent view of some aspect of your organization’s work, revealing the structure of work across multiple users. For this assignment, you will be asked, as a team, to select the one model that you feel is the most informative for your project and to create a consolidated version of it. You will receive a team grade for this assignment. The acceptable models are: Artifact model Culture model Cultural assessment (10 characteristics) see note below Communication flow (aka “work flow” or “flow model”) Physical model Sequence model Swimming lane diagram The goal of the models is to ensure that you have a sufficiently clear understanding of the work of your organization that you can generate alternate recommendations and select those which are most valuable.
