Instead, they used two 3D data capture technologies, Geometric Informatics’ “GeoVideo” and Velodyne’s HDL-64E Lidar scanner. In this assignment you’ll create a 3D visualization using data from a single point in time; to create a video you would need to do something similar for many thousands of time points.
