Results and Recommendation Transfer function of input Potentiometer The dynamics of the input potentiometer is neglected. The transfer function of the  input potentiometer is given by the ratio of the reference voltage Vi(s) to the  angular displacement  i(s). The output voltage at the center of the potentiometer θ   is 0V, five turns towards the positive 10V or the negative 10V gives a voltage  change of 10V.
