Human Service Manager 2 Human Service Manager Exercise Individuals assume an immense deal of responsibilities when working as Human Service field that will make them develop some essentials skills necessary to be succeed. Communication is the key of success fallow by excellent interviewing skills that will enable clinicians to help theirs' clients overcome any issues. However, individuals working in the human service field most be aware that these skills take time to develop and sharpener; therefore, they most know that they should turn to theirs' managers for assistance, support and directives. This paper aim to analyze three hypothetical stories were some suggestions will be made based in recommendation and strategies applicable to each story. Scenario #1 Family Support Services Center Staff Member: Tom Martin 1. Demographics a. Age: 32 b. Gender: Male c. Marital Status: Divorced d. Race/ethnicity: Caucasian e. Years with Agency: 4 2. Staff Member History and Current Assessment a. Employed as an individual counselor for adult clients. b. Considered an adequate but not outstanding counselor. c. Two previous client complaints that could not be substantiated.
