Unformatted text preview: Garment analysis lab, men’s shirts  All work done in lab  No write-up required Confusion over bleach names, in part due to Clorox brand name, perhaps, caused a few people to reverse their bleached samples Clorox = sodium hypochlorite bleach, otherwise known as chlorine bleach Very strong, used on whites for the most part; not for use on wool, silk, nylon, spandex Clorox II = oxygen bleach, active ingredient hydrogen peroxide for liquid form; sodium perborate for powdered form Color safe Safe for most fibers Wrinkle Recovery Tester – All class results incorrect , due to procedural error Once weight is removed from sample, many begin to recover immediately.
