Yarn – heavier yarn more difficult to wrinkle.   Resilience reduced by high twist Fabric structure –  Knits wrinkle less because of yarn freedom within the  structure Weaves with fewer interlacings and fewer yarns resist  wrinkles better, again because the yarns can move Pile and napped fabrics resist wrinkling more than plain  surfaced because pile makes them harder to bend
