Also throughout the article one sees the similarities in writings of foreign plants and that of foreign people, caused by the concept of xenophobia. Alien plant and animal movements are described with the same metaphor of illegal, unwelcome, and unlawful entry. Humans focus less on the degradation of habitats and more on foreign plants and animals as the main issue. Another main point with regards to immigration is how white Americans see themselves as natives, when we all descended from another place.
