Post Rebounding: Reverse pivot into a classic, box-out stance Defensive Rebounding Techniques: Defensive Rebounding Techniques: 2. Perimeter Rebounding: Move towards the offensive player, under control, and sliding sideways Make contact with a forearm, find the ball, and keep your body between the ball and your player May reverse pivot if the player goes behind you Competitive Drills: Competitive Drills: 1. Gaucho Rebounding:-helpside player closest to the driver stops the ball (outside the lane), while the other defender slides down to a help-the helper position-as soon as the driver picks up his/her dribble, both players recover to box their players out-if the offensive players get an offensive rebound, play 2 on 2-defensive pair must get two consecutive first shot rebounds to get out of the drill 10/22/2009 3 Competitive Drills: Competitive Drills: 2. Triangle Rebounding:-the three defensive rebounders (keyed by the slide of the top player) slide toward the coach with the ball, pointing and talking to indicate which player they will be boxing out if the ball is shot-when the ball is passed to the other coach, the players slide in the direction of that coach-when the ball is shot, each player boxes out their offensive player-defenders stay on the court until the coach is satisfied with their efforts-three new offensive rebounders rotate onto the court after every shot 2 Defense (2D)...
