Record Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Respirations and temperature – Q 15 minutes or per routine. 5. Oxygen per 1) Mask 2) Nasal Cannula 3) Catheter at 2 4 6 8 10 liters/min 4) T-Tube mist to ETT at ____%. Adjust Oxygen to maintain saturations greater than or equal to 92% or ______%. 6. Notify anesthesiologist for Oxygen saturation less than or equal to saturation in #4 or ______%. 7. Initial Ventilator Settings: FiO2 _______ Vt ________ RR ________ PEEP ________ Pressure Support ________ 8. If patient is intubated, extubate patient when awake and demonstrating adequate muscle strength. An anesthesiologist must be immediately available. 9. Initiate Emergency Procedures for Monitored and Non-Monitored Areas if indicated. 10. Continue current IV fluid at TKO or __________ mL/hour or Saline lock Central Line Care per Nursing Protocol 11. Analgesia - Give in numerical order - Give #1 first; if ineffective, give #2; if ineffective, give #3; if still ineffective, call MD.
