1. Write the decimal 32.000097 in words.  What is the rule to read a decimal.  Thirty-two and ninety-seven millionths. 2. Explain the rule for Rounding off decimals. Any number less than .5 is rounded down to 0. And number greater than or equal  to .5 is rounded up to 1. In the case of rounding down the decimal is dropped and in  the case of rounding up the decimal dropped and the one’s place is incremented by  one. 3. How do you add and subtract decimals. Same as you add and subtract regular numbers. Add or subtract the appropriate places.  The tenths place of the first number will be added/subtracted from the tenths place of the  second number. .4353 minus .7234 = -.2881 and .02346 + .000009 = 0.023469 4. How do you multiply decimals. Multiply as regular numbers and then count the number of decimal places that have  been multiplied and add that same number of decimal places to the number adding
