1) Describe how each of the components of the local marketing environment are impacted by the presence of a new Wal-Mart supercenter. Although Wal-Mart is helping people by providing jobs, but they are also helping people on need. They are one of the biggest stores nationwide and also one of the stores that most people shop at. As far as the local marketing environment, when a new superstore opens up, they local mom and pop store that everyone went to will now be hurting. Basically, they are forcing them to close their doors. 2) Describe how the components of the local marketing environment impact how Wal-Mart operates in the local area when they open up a new Wal- Mart supercenter.
