Lisully Ramirez Professor Beltramini COM 100 May 7 2018 Final Reflection During my time in this course, I went through a hard time at home so I think it really affected my school work. I’ve always been a person to not forget and always have all my assignments tact, but this semester I found myself to be absent minded. I am honestly disappointed in that this class should’ve been an easy A, but I missed a couple assignments and my grade dropped drastically. Actually practicing and speaking in front of people has always been a scary thing for me, and this class has helped me cope with that fear, of course we didn't have a big group but I was still terrified at first. I feel like I improved on my talking and confidence, the breathing and power stances helped me a lot. It relaxed my body and gave me more confidence, that is

Unformatted text preview: something I will take with me as continue in college. I learned how to improvise while I give a speech and only have notes to go based off of. This is a skill that could be useful in other courses as well. Just in general what I’m taking from this class is that I became a better speaker and I learned how to execute a speech properly. I can use this in my career because I’m going to be working with people a lot, it may not be scripted but it will just help me to interact better with these people.
