Hacettepe University Department of Computer Engineering Hacettepe University Department of Computer Engineering Fall / 2009-2010 BIL137 Software Laboratory Experiment 3 INTRODUCTION Modular programming is a software design technique that increases the extent to which software is composed from separate parts, called modules. Conceptually, modules represent a separation of concerns and improve maintainability by enforcing logical boundaries between components.” 1 Modules in C are called functions. Scientists use mathematical functions to calculate formulas. Programmers use functions to build modular programs. The aim of this experiment is to make you familiar with modular programming and gain practical experience with functions using C functions with no arguments/arguments and no return/return values. 1 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modular_programming BIL137 Experiment 3 Page 1 / 6 Subject : Functions Programming Language : ANSI C Submission Date : 10.11.2009 Date Due : 17.11.2009 Advisors : Oğuz Aslantürk [email protected] : R.A. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
