The quiz covers the Gastrointestinal System and Urinary System , which are chapters 14-15 in the 2006 edition or chapters 12-13 in the 2008 edition. i. Gastrointestinal System 1. Carefully study and memorize the terms presented in the tables entitled Combining Forms , Anatomical Terms , and Symptomatic and Diagnostic Terms . 2. Be familiar with the anatomical structures involved in digestion, absorption, and excretion. 3. As to the terms in the other tables, the kind of information I will ask for you should be able to provide through your knowledge of combining forms, by what was covered in class and by doing the exercises in the textbook. ii.
