Boston: McGraw-Hill Course Description: This course provides students with concepts and tools of critical thinking they need to deal effectively with the problems and issues they face, whether in the classroom, in their personal or professional life. The constructivist approach to learning is used. Constructivism is based on the belief that learning occurs when learners are actively involved in a process of meaning and knowledge construction rather than passively receiving information. Constructivist learning fosters critical thinking and creates motivated and independent learners. Attendance: Students missing 20% of the meetings shall be dropped from the class with a Failing Grade Class Schedule :
