A Data Mining Approach to Predict Forest Fires using Meteo- rological Data. In J. Neves, M. F. Santos and J. APPIA, ISBN-13 978- 989-95618-0-9. This study considered forest fire data from the Montesinho natural park, from the Tr´as-os- Montes northeast region of Portugal. Located within a supra-Mediterranean climate, the av- erage annual temperature is within the range 8 to 12 degees C. Their data was collected from January 2000 to December 2003 and it was built using two sources.
