4 LAB Labs begin: Week of September 15, 2007, Arrive On-time! You will perform a real lab this first week, so you must be prepared You will need: lab manual lab book lab coat safety glasses proper shoes (no sandals)

5 Your final grade will consist of: Laboratory: 25% Assignments: Mastering Chemistry: 3 % (two) 3% (weekly) Test 1: 15% Tuesday, October 6 Test 2: 15% Tuesday, November 10 Final Exam: 39% A formula sheet and periodic table will be provided for all tests and for the final exam.

6 Assignments (3 % of Final Mark) There will be 2 grades assignments to be done on your own. They will be released on the virtual campus course site on the Monday prior to the due date (so you will have 3 days to complete them). Assignment 1: due Oct 29/30. Assignment 2: due Nov 26/27. Assignments will be marked and returned the following week in the DGDs, prior to Test 2 and the Final Exam.
