Inference Last lab we obtained point estimates for parameter p using two approaches. In this lab we will extend this to the setting of confidence and credible intervals. 1 Maximum likelihood estimation (MLE): Compute ˆ p and provide estimates of the 90 , 95 , 99% confidence intervals. 2 Bayesian estimation: You will need to find the posterior distribution of p . Compute ˆ p (expectation) and ˜ p (MAP).
