1. Do you think that you mind and/or soul will exist after the death of your body? Is there evidence for or against this? Please note that your religious convictions may teach that a soul exists after death. However, in this question, you are asked to go beyond religious teaching and ask whether it is reasonable to believe that our souls and/or minds exist after death. What evidence should we look toward in evaluating our belief? I do not believe that my mind and/or soul will exist after death of my body. Physicalism is the theory that human beings are only physical and thus the mind is nothing but a brain. This would be the same for souls, I believe that our souls are nonphysical and so if our physical body is gone, then so would be our souls. I don’t think that there is evidence for or against this, it’s just what you believe and what ever that might be, is right to you.
