What are the most important parts of female identity as defined by the readings this week? Why are these important? I think a couple of the most important parts of female identity in this week’s readings were to have been who accepted by men, but also being a women who had independence. Many of the Women outlived their husbands and had a very great independent life. Abigail Adams talked about her patriotism and citizenship, on education and religion and on national economies and on their marriage of fifty-four years.
