Unformatted text preview: Cognitive Tasks Paper A major cognitive achievement in middle childhood is the achievement of Concrete Operations. Your task in this assignment is to find a child aged 6-11 years old, and to conduct an assessment of their cognitive developmental stage. In order to do this, you will set up two or three Piagetian Experiments to determine their stage. A few examples are described below, but you may use other examples provided in your text or in the videos. Make sure that you have the parent’s permission before you begin to work with the child (a sample parent consent form is provided for your use). In your write-up: 4. Describe the child. Give gender, age, family structure, and any other information you think is relevant. (Do not use the child’s real name.
