HER is a technology data trend that it is tremendously increasing in the healthcare field right now. Every hospital setting, every doctor’s appointment, and lab result are emerging with the use of technology into EHR. Do you remember grandmothers to bring their file cabinet and take out a pile of their most important papers and start searching for something, EHR arrived to help compile all those papers into an organized and safe file with easy access.A challenge of EHR is the ability of patient to accept, adapt and incorporate to change. And taking ingrained habits and saying, rather than write on a paper, you're now going to use a computer it's different, it's foreign,they feel uncomfortable at times, they don't feel they have the same mastery.” Even though EHR promises fantastic benefits, it does poses a potential challenge to patients that are not used to change, patients that are not familiar with technology and to patients that do not have access to a computer nor internet.
