INTRODUCTION >Scheme of work is define as the breakdown of the syllabus into manangeable units which could be covered in a period of time, lasting for either a week, month, term or even a year. >It can be also define as the plan for something. A teache’s scheme of work is therefore his/her plan of action which should enable him/her to organise teaching activities ahead of time. It is a summarised forecast of work which the teacher consider adequate and appropriate for the class to cover within a given period of time fro those topics which are already set in the syllabus. >A scheme of work can be made to cover one week, one month, one term or even one year depending on the duration of given programme. >there are many various importance of scheme of work which enable the teacher to achieve his/her own goal. Most these importance are ; it ensure that every topic and subtopics in the syllabus is taught. This enable the learners are the teacher to have good performance at the end of any term as the learner are able to get the concepts of the teacher during the teaching process.
