STAT292Self-Directed TutorialWeek 1The following is a brief self-directed tutorial to review and extend some ofwhat you learned about probability in STAT193.In STAT193, you learned how to use software to calculate probabilities based on specificprobability distributions (e.g., binomial distribution, normal distribution). The intentof this tutorial is to briefly review these probability distributions, as well as the Poissondistribution, and to provide greater insight into probabilities based on these distributions.
