After reading about the technological imperative, and more notably the “global village,” handfuls of ideas came pouring into my head. I thought about computers, the internet, email, and so on. So when starting my research on CNN.com, The BlackBerry cell phone quickly caught my eye due to the fact that it allows you to hold all of the previously noted technological advances in the palm of your hand. The features of the latest and most advanced BlackBerry Pearl include; push e-mail, mobile telephone, text messaging, internet faxing, web browsing amoung other wireless information services. 1 This technological advanvement directly affects me every summer.
