*****If you are taking this class and you don’t know the prof, listen up: 1. Make sure that you go to class…don’t miss too many or else you’ll be screwed. 2. In the beginning, he makes it sound like you can miss quizzes. Lies. Don’t miss any unless you have a legitimate excuse…he’ll give you a zero. 3. GO TO HIS OFFICE HOURS. He’ll give you extra points and he explains whatever you ask him to, no matter how long it takes. 4. He talks reeeeeally fast and has a Scottish accent, so if you didn’t take Trig in high school and you don’t learn at a fast pace, I wouldn’t recommend this course. a. MAT 103 is way easier, as is 104. If you can get away with taking those then do it. 5. If you’re good at math and you actually like it, then this is an awesome class to take.
