While I was going through the application process, I had
my own enrollment advisor, who was there for me when I had questions and followed-up with me every week to make sure I was on track for the start of the program. Before Ieven started the program, I already was supported by Walden’s faculty, so I know I will continue to be supported by Jessica and other faculty in the program and as a practicing nurse.As I begin this journey, it will be extremely helpful having a personal success advisor to communicate with every week making sure I stay organized as well as providing guidance and knowledge about the program itself. According to The Walden Journey to a Masters in Nursing: Networking and Collaborationvideo, you cannot do it alone, “it takes a village” to be successful as a practicing nurse (Laureate Education, Inc., 2018).
