G ABRIEL P AREDES BUS 321 B ARBARA N ORRIS : L EADING C HANGE IN THE G ENERAL S URGERY U NIT P OSITION A month ago, Barbara Norris has been promoted to be the new nurse manager for the General Surgery Unit (GSU) at Easter Massachusetts University Hospital (EMU). In this short time, she has noticed that there are some problems that need to be fix quickly. Barbara organized a meeting so everybody could have the opportunity to speak up about these problems. She has detected several problems that need her attention so they can be fixed but I think that the more important ones are the following: P ROBLEM A NALYSIS Issue #1 Lack of Reward System.
