Process Improvement
It is essential that organizations continuously aim at meeting and exceeding standards,
regulations, and laws to ensure quality care is provided and the success of an organization
(Cunningham, Ferguson-Hill, Matthews, & Bailie, 2016). Patient input is necessary to achieve a
better understanding of the effects the delivery of care provided had on them and their overall
satisfaction and outcome of the services delivered. Utilizing data is an essential part of gaining
more understanding of performance and satisfaction.
It is important that organizations use operation assessments to identify potential risks and
implement methods to reduce, control, and/or prevent the risk from occurring. Additionally,
utilizing the reporting system within the facility is important as it helps to also identify potential
risks and issues. It also recognizes trends that are existent and improvements which may be
necessary to improve functionality within the organization. Wait times continues to be a problem
