Week Four, Only Topic Watch a Western or a Musical film made in the last 30 years. It cannot be from the genre that your favorite movie is from (the film you told us was your favorite in week one). What does it have in common with the films of that genre in the week Four content? How is the film different? How does Cinematography or Special Effects play a part in the film you watched? Identify at least three places that one of these stood out in the film.Response 1This week I decided to watch the new age style Western directed by the amazing Quentin Tarantino called "The Hateful Eight" (2015). I am a big fan of Tarantino and much like his film, "Django, Unchained",I am an even bigger fan of his depictions of the Western genre. One of the films from this weeks content that I think can directly correlate to Hateful Eight is "Stagecoach" (1939) directed by the legendary John Ford. One of the biggest things that liken both films to one another is the general plot. In "Stagecoach" we have a group full of different characters traveling in a stagecoach (some not as innocent as others), cross country and personalities definitely clash. Danger is on the horizon, to make matters worse, as raiders are also traveling the vast Wild West. Similarly, in Hateful Eight, we have a stagecoach traveling through snowy Wyoming and unsavory characters also cross paths, all looking out for their personal gain.
