Genesis discussions IN the story there are a series of transformations, just like the conversions Innocence to guilt, simplicity to duplicity, life to death Referred to single relationship between man and God - played out with different characters Ultimately they are all just talking about what it is like to be human in the light of God God is authority, Man is creature - ambiguity because Man is made in image of the creator, and has capacity to debate God, but does not know he has it yet God must trust man to follow his orders, but disobedience leads to the fall Example of ambiguity: God Man Earth Because Adam was made out of Dust, he was fully material and earthly, but because he was given life through divine inspiration, he is also holy spirit - Duality between spirit and body - If Adam eats the fruit, he will die Serpent is subtle, woman is weak with an inclination to give in to desire Everybody is punished - has something to do with the God=like status that they received through eating the fruit Adam and Eve - Eve is literally part of the man - interpreting eve to be one whole side of his duality of flesh and spirit - she is bone of bone, flesh of the flesh

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
