MEMORANDUM Date: January 00, 2010 To: Mr. Orendorff From: Team 30 Regarding: Analysis of Chapter 9 Objectives Chapter 9 teaches us how to write persuasive messages. It shows us how to apply the three-step writing process, how to identify seven ways to establish credibility, and how to describe the AIDA model. In addition, Chapter 9 also helps us to distinguish between emotional and logical appeals and it helps us to know how to balance them. It also informs us on how to discuss an effective approach. Finally, it educates us on how to identify selling points and steps you can take to avoid ethical lapses in marketing and sales.
